They came close in 2021, though that offer for 100,000 points only required $4,000 in spend while this requires $5,000.
For a very limited time, you can earn 100,000 bonus points worth at least $1,250 of travel, when you are approved for theĀ Chase Sapphire PreferredĀ®Ā during this offer period and spend $5,000 within 3 months.

As great as it is to redeem these points via Chase Travelā for $1,250 worth of travel (which is pretty amazing for a card with just a $95 annual fee!) I’d suggest that Chase’s transfer partners offer the best value.
I’m a personal huge fan of transferring to World of Hyatt (you can even book premium suites with points in their program!), but you’ll also find familiar programs like United, Southwest, British Airways, and Air France. Whether you redeem for hotel stays, economy awards or business class awards, 100,000 Ultimate RewardsĀ® points will go a long way! And if combined with a Transfer Bonus, they could go even further!

Note that you cannot have received a bonus offer on either card within the last 48 months or currently have the card to be eligible for these offers. If you had a Sapphire card that you product changed to a Freedom family card and it’s been more than 48 months since your Sapphire bonus, then you would be eligible.

Am I eligible for the Chase Sapphire PreferredĀ® 100,000 point bonus offer?
While approvals are 100% up to Chase, know that two disqualifiers would be having a Sapphire card currently or being at/over 5/24.
If you did have either Sapphire card and were interested in this offer, you do have the option to product change to a Freedom-family card, wait a week or so, and then apply.
You’ll also have considerably better odds if your FICO score is at least 670 or higher.
