While it’s possible to do better in all of these categories, the combination of 4% on dining, entertainment, and streaming plus 3% at grocery stores, it’s quite a compelling combination of categories!
Certainly 4% on dining, entertainment, and 3% on groceries handles a big chunk of your daily spend, and a Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card would complete the Capital One “Bifecta” since you could then transfer from the SavorOne to the Venture 1:1 and from there to all of the Capital One Miles transfer partners.
Of course, you can also carry a Capital One Spark Miles Business credit card instead of a Venture as they are essentially the same.
And if you don’t mind earning 3% on dining entertainment and streaming instead of 4%, you can even save the annual fee with a no-annual fee SavorOne credit card instead.

The Chase Slate Edge is specifically aimed at those people who have at least “good” credit but need some help with either existing credit card balances with high APRs or to finance new purchases using the 0% Introductory APR offer (detailed above in Key Facts).
Because it doesn’t earn rewards, it’s not our first choice of card if you are opening a new card for any other purpose. For instance, also with no annual fee, you could earn 1.5% cash back on the Chase Freedom Unlimited® card. Or, for just a $95 annual fee, you could reap the many benefits of the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card.
But if your reason for a new card is to lower existing debt or finance new debt, the Chase Slate Edge could be right for you.
