Our “Famous Card Explorer”

Our Credit Card Explorer lets you narrow down the overwhelming selection of available credit cards to only the ones that match your exact preferences.

Your Best Credit Cards has partnered with CardRatings and MyBankTracker for our coverage of credit card products. Your Best Credit Cards and our partners may receive compensation from card issuers when a customer clicks on a link, when an application is approved, or when an account is opened. Some or all of the offers that appear on Your Best Credit Cards are from advertisers and may influence how and where products are displayed on the site, as well as their rankings in tables. Your Best Credit Cards does not include all card companies, banks, or all available card or bank offers. Commissions do not affect or prioritize placement within our Card Explorer results, and not all cards displayed earn us a commission. Get a 25% transfer bonus when you transfer American Express Membership Rewards to Air France Flying Blue.

Offer expires on Jun 30, 2026

Get 25% more Flying Blue when you transfer Membership Rewards® points through 6/30/2026.

I like this bonus more than you might think. With Tiffany Funk (former One Mile at a Time / Point.me) running the Flying Blue loyalty program, things are likely to improve. Right now, they have some really good award rates at times, though they often fluctuate into the absurd. 60,000 points for Business class to/from Europe from the US is solid, but the surcharges have gotten way out of control (about $600 one way).

Also, while Flying Blue miles expire, it’s a reasonable 24 months and any activity (such as a simple 1,000 point transfer in) will extend it. They used to have archaic rules where flight activity miles weren’t extended with other activity but they came to their senses a few months ago and it’s now simplified with all miles in one pool and all extended by any activity.

I will note, though, that when Air France is releasing space to partners, it’s much cheaper to book those flights using JAL Mileage Bank! I was able to book a one way from Paris to New York for just 42,000 JAL miles and less than $300 in taxes and fees. However, it’s *considerably* easier to earn American Express points than JAL so I really think this is worth your consideration. As always, run searches for what you actually might / will book before transferring!

Side note: The easiest way to earn JAL Mileage Bank miles are through Rove. You can get 1,500 Rove Miles with our exclusive partnership just by signing up using this link.

Get a 20% transfer bonus when you transfer American Express Membership Rewards to Marriott Bonvoy.

Offer expires on Jun 30, 2026

Get 20% more Marriott Bonvoy when you transfer Membership Rewards® points through 6/30/2026.

Please don’t do this. An American Express Membership Rewards point is worth more than three times a Bonvoy Point. You’d need around a 200% transfer bonus to be in the ballpark of equal value.

If you are curious, price out an award you are looking for at the Marriott Bonvoy website, compare against cash prices, and then see if it makes any sense. (It won’t in 99.99% of cases.) If you find an extreme edge case or just need to top up a few thousand points for an award you are close to, then it may make sense. Beyond that, we’ve seen historical credit card transfer bonuses to Marriott Bonvoy of up to 70% which are, I guess, at least a bit better?

Instant Transfers as well as solid transfer partners. The value would go up if they had any hotel partners with a fair exchange rate. ANA (an exception to instant transfers), Virgin, Air Canada and Avianca are top airline partners for maximizing your points. They can also transfer to Delta if you wish and while the rates aren't ideal, they can transfer to Marriott and Hilton as well.  ANA provides almost unbeatable value for booking a Round the World flight all in Business Class. The stated value also assumes you will take advantage of transfer partners rather than book via their booking portal, where they are only worth between 1 and 1.5 cents. We've also created a Guide to American Express Membership Rewards.

  • With a $300 annual travel credit and 10,000 miles (worth $100) each year at renewal, the credits you receive are actually worth more than the annual fee.
  • Free authorized user cards
  • No Preset Spending Limit; Earns Capital One Miles

Pros

  • The annual fee is more than covered by annual credits
  • Comes with access to Capital One lounges and Landings and participating Priority Pass™ lounges
  • No Preset Spending Limit

Cons

  • The annual fee, while effectively negative $5 after credits, can feel like a lot.
  • Aside from bonus points for booking through Capital One Business Travel, there are no bonus categories. Still, all eligible purchases do earn 2X miles per dollar spent which is great.
  • Points don't transfer to any domestic airlines, although you can use other partners to book domestic award tickets on domestic airlines.

It's worth noting that some Capital One cards earn 2 miles per dollar on everything, making the 1.6 cent per mile value an understatement as you'd be earning a 3.2% yield on every day spend. However, this assumes you will learn how to utilize the Capital One airline and hotel transfer partners, most of which transfer 1:1. The minimum value is 1 cent when used to book travel in their portal or to  cover previously paid for travel, however, our calculator assumes you will use Capital One's air and hotel transfer partners when calculating a 1.6 cent per point value. We also have a Guide to Capital One Miles.
