Card Features and Benefits:

This card is good for people who make lots of purchases - 30 per month earns you a 50% bonus on all points earned. With the bonus, it features some of the best earn rates available today.

It earns 3x points on groceries, 2x at gas stations, and 1x on everything else, which means that after the 50% bonus for 30 transactions a month, it offers an exceptional grocery rate of 4.5x, 3x on gas, and 1.5x on everything else.

Gas and un-bonused spend are unlimited, but note that groceries only earn at the higher rate for the first $6,000; after that, groceries are just 1x/1.5x.

American Express defines a supermarket as offering a wide variety of food and household products such as meat, fresh produce, dairy, canned and packaged goods, household cleaners, pharmacy products and pet supplies. (Superstores, convenience stores and warehouse clubs are NOT considered supermarkets.)

YourBestCreditCards.com does not receive a commission from this card, but we wanted to make sure you know your best options.
