Get up to a 125% transfer bonus when you transfer Bilt Rewards to TAP Miles&Go.

On June 1st, Rent Day, you can get a transfer bonus from Bilt Points to TAP Portugal’s Miles&Go program based on your Bilt status. As with last month, note the 100,000 base point limitation on transfers.

• Blue: 25% bonus
• Silver: 50% bonus
• Gold: 75% bonus
• Platinum: 100% bonus
• Platinum + Bilt Cash upgrade: 125% bonus
• Bilt Cash Upgrade: Members can use Bilt Cash to temporarily upgrade their status for $150 in Bilt Cash and access a higher tier promotion. Platinum members can tier up to  125%. You can only “level up” one tier.
• Maximum transfer eligible for the bonus: 100,000 base Bilt Points total during Rent Day, regardless of how the transfer is split across programs

TAP Miles&Go is not a great program most of the time, but that doesn’t mean you won’t find an excellent deal when you are talking about getting up to 2.25X on your transfer.

For instance, though their US-EU pricing is rather insane (I’m seeing 145,000 miles each way in Business from JFK-LIS as an example), a 100% transfer bonus cuts that to 72,500 miles + $30. Not bad if you want a non-stop to Portugal and aren’t seeing any saver space. EU-US would be similar at 145,000 miles but about $150 in fees.

You’ll need to create or login to your TAP account to search. While Roame (get a free month of Roame Pro for new Pro users) and Point.me both support TAP, I’m not seeing any availability on those sites right now, so I’d suggest a live search at TAP.

The other main use would be booking SATA Azores Airlines flights (not bookable anywhere else on an award; the Azores islands, part of Portugal, are supposed to be well worth a visit!) and Emirates flights (although I couldn’t find a single JFK-DXB flight available to even tell you the price – you might have better luck)!
