Capital One just added JAL Mileage Bank as a partner last September. The transfer ratio is sub-optimal at 2:1.5, but with this offer it is *almost* to 1:1.

1,000 Capital One Miles gets you 975 JAL miles until February 28, 2026 with this transfer bonus. Usually, 1,000 Capital One Miles will get you 750 JAL miles.

I would say the absolute best use of JAL from now until March 31st would be the JetBlue partnership valid until March 31st.

Importantly, you cannot transfer points into JAL Mileage Bank until your Mileage Bank account has been active for 7 days, so create that account right away whether you have a transfer in mind today or not.

Transfers should be instant.

JAL does offer a Round The World award (appealing now that ANA’s RTW is no more), but note that JAL miles “hard expire” 36 months from the date you earn them.
