Get 20% more Hilton Honors Points when you transfer Membership Rewards® points through 5/30/2026. 3,000,000 point maximum transfer.
The normal transfer ratio is 1:2, so this bonus gets you 2,400 Hilton Honors points when you transfer 1,000 American Express points.
The last transfer bonus from Amex to Hilton expired in September of 2025, so it’s been a while. That one was for 25%.
Historically, which we can see in our master list of past transfer bonuses from Amex to Hilton, the offers tend to range from 25% -40% (with 40% being somewhat rare).
Obviously it’s been more attractive at 25%, 30% or 40%, but it could be worth considering for some with a redemption in mind, especially using the 5th night free on awards if you have Silver Elite status or higher as that increases your value both by giving the 5th night free and because resort fees and room tax are waived on award stays.
We value an Amex point at 1.7 cents and a Hilton point at 0.5 cents and while those values are an average, with a 5th night free award you can definitely do well transferring 1,000 Amex points for 2,400 Hilton Honors points. Our advice is to run some sample searches for potential redemptions to see the value you’re likely to get before transferring. Note that following devaluations last year, Standard Reward night rates can be as high as 250,000 points / night.
Keep in mind that if you have any Free Reward Night Certificates (valid on any Standard Reward night) which can be earned with a Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card (each anniversary year and after $30,000 and also after $60,000 spent in a calendar year) or the Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card (earned after $15,000 spent in a calendar year), you can add before or after a 5th night free award for a longer stay.

Instant Transfers as well as solid transfer partners. The value would go up if they had any hotel partners with a fair exchange rate. ANA (an exception to instant transfers), Virgin, Air Canada and Avianca are top airline partners for maximizing your points. They can also transfer to Delta if you wish and while the rates aren't ideal, they can transfer to Marriott and Hilton as well. ANA provides almost unbeatable value for booking a Round the World flight all in Business Class. The stated value also assumes you will take advantage of transfer partners rather than book via their booking portal, where they are only worth between 1 and 1.5 cents. We've also created a Guide to American Express Membership Rewards.

Get 30% bonus Southwest Rapid Rewards points when you transfer Ultimate Rewards points between 12:00 AM ET on May 15, 2026 and 11:59 PM ET on June 5, 2026.
Since we started tracking transfer bonuses, we’ve only seen two transfer bonuses to Southwest Rapid Rewards. Chase, just this last November at 25%, and Bilt in May 2025 (up to 100%). There was also one from Chase during COVID before this site started tracking.
Does that make this a great deal? Well, no, not really for most; maybe for some… Generally I peg a Rapid Rewards point under the current management as being worth an average of 1.25 cents per point. With this bonus you are looking at a blended average somewhere in the 1.6 cents per point range. That means that in most cases, this will be a better redemption than using the Chase Travel℠ portal, but it won’t be a gangbusters / aspirational redemption by any means.
If you already transfer to higher value partners or are getting 1.75 cents per point regularly in Points Boost, this won’t be as attractive. If you fly Southwest and aren’t getting better than 1.6 cents per point on average now, then maybe it’s worth it – just keep in mind this new management is likely to keep devaluing the value you get from points, so I wouldn’t back up the truck.
Early birds get more points! Get 65% bonus Marriott Bonvoy® points when you transfer Ultimate Rewards points between 12:00 AM ET on May 1, 2026 and 11:59 PM ET on May 15, 2026. When the early bird offer ends, get 55% bonus Marriott Bonvoy points when you transfer Ultimate Rewards points between 12:00 AM ET on May 16, 2026 and 11:59 PM ET on June 30, 2026. Bonus points will be awarded by Marriott Bonvoy in your Marriott Bonvoy account up to 7 days after your transfer is complete.
Chase just ran a transfer bonus to Marriott Bonvoy, which ended on February 28, 2026, for 50%. This is unquestionably better, but it doesn’t change the math much on how I’d view this transfer bonus:
This is almost never a good transfer unless you are topping off for an award you are ready to book. Keep in mind that we value a Chase point at roughly 3X the value of a Marriott Bonvoy point.
However, there are always exceptions and you might find a 5 night stay (5th night free) where the transfer makes sense so do the math – but you likely do not want to transfer speculatively unless you are a Bonvoy pro and believe you will exceed value you can get via other transfer partners. Also keep in mind this transfer can take up to 48 hours.
Get 20% Bonus Flying Blue Miles when you transfer Ultimate Rewards® points between 12:00 AM ET on May 1, 2026 and 11:59 PM ET on May 27, 2026.
Bonus Miles will be awarded by Flying Blue in your Flying Blue account after your transfer is complete. Promotional offer terms and conditions apply.
Chase’s last transfer bonus to Flying Blue ended last September, and there was one from Amex in October of 2025, but this is the first transfer bonus from any issuer to Flying Blue in 2026.
Flying Blue rates are variable, so run a search before transferring. When you get lucky, business class from the US to Europe can run as low as 60,000 Flying Blue miles (up from 50,000 previously). But that would be just 48,000 credit card points during this promotion! Of course you can also get even luckier during an Air France monthly promo award sale.
Flying Blue is often the best way to book Virgin Atlantic Upper Class from the US to Europe and beyond, due to the lowest taxes of any way to book Virgin Atlantic, however with Virgin’s new dynamic pricing you really have to compare the pricing on both programs as it can now be cheaper with Virgin in some cases. Flying Blue can also book Delta, KLM, and other SkyTeam members when Saver award space is available.
If you have lots of points across various programs, no need to speculatively transfer due to the number of overall transfer bonuses each year.

The Sapphire Reserve, Sapphire Preferred, Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business, and Ink Preferred all have the ability to transfer to airline and hotel partners. We use an average value that you can expect to get by utilizing your points for these transfer partners. In the Chase Travel℠ portal, Points Boost allows you to redeem for airfare or hotels with point values ranging from 1.5 - 2 cents depending on cabin class or hotel. Specific flights and hotels that appear in Point Boost vary. If you do not have at least one of these cards, Ultimate Rewards are worth exactly 1 cent per point. Ending on May 31, 2026 at 11:59pm ET, this is a pretty rare 20% transfer bonus opportunity if you are savvy with Qantas’ program (which probably isn’t a ton of you!). We only see four historical transfer bonuses to Qantas dating back to 2022 when we started recording them, two from Capital One, one from Citi ThankYou and one from Amex. All have also been 20%. The last Cap One transfer bonus to Qantas was exactly this time last year.
The first thing you’ll want to see is the Qantas award chart as prices rose, significantly in some cases, in August of 2024. There are actually multiple charts: One for Qantas, Jetstar, Fiji Airways, Air Vanuatu, and American Airlines and another for Air France, Alaska Airlines, Bangkok Airways, British Airways, Cathay Pacific Airways, China Airlines, China Eastern, EL AL, Emirates, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, KLM, LATAM Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Oman Air, Qatar Airways, Royal Air Maroc, Royal Jordanian, SriLankan Airlines and WestJet.
And then there’s yet another for mixed oneworld awards.
The Qantas frequent flyer program tends to have very expensive rates, however, there are often times that they make First and Business Class seats from the US to Australia available with Qantas Frequent Flyer and not with partners. You may also find expanded availability with other partners – you’ll have to search but happily their search interface is pretty easy to use and provides calendar views.
You can also book Emirates Business class flights with Qantas. Compare against the Emirates Skywards program before transferring.

It's worth noting that some Capital One cards earn 2 miles per dollar on everything, making the 1.6 cent per mile value an understatement as you'd be earning a 3.2% yield on every day spend. However, this assumes you will learn how to utilize the Capital One airline and hotel transfer partners, most of which transfer 1:1. The minimum value is 1 cent when used to book travel in their portal or to cover previously paid for travel, however, our calculator assumes you will use Capital One's air and hotel transfer partners when calculating a 1.6 cent per point value. We also have a Guide to Capital One Miles.

You can also read our Guide to Chase Ultimate Rewards points.
