Which Capital One Business Cards Report to Personal Credit (Count Towards 5/24)?

Which Capital One Business Cards Report to Your Personal Credit?

On MilesTalk, I’ve previously written about the topic of Capital One business cards and which report to your personal credit profile.

There still seems to be some confusion, though, and I want to make things extra clear here.

First of all, there are two reasons to care if a business credit card, which rarely reports to your own personal credit, actually does. And it can be a rude surprise!

  • It can hurt your credit! Businesses tend to have higher credit balances when a statement closes when compared to a personal credit card. Having your business expenses report as a balance owed on your personal credit report, it will generally have a negative impact on your credit.
  • For those interested in applying for Chase credit cards, the Chase 5/24 rule (where you won’t be approved for a new Chase card if you have opened 5 or more personal credit cards in the last 24 months) will count a business card. that reports as a personal card.

So let’s look at which Capital One business credit cards do NOT report to your personal credit file, and which do.

Important note: Even the cards listed below that do not report to your personal credit WILL report to your personal credit if you are delinquent in your account. The below assumed you always make your required payments on time.
