Get 40% bonus Virgin Points when you transfer Ultimate Rewards points between 12:00 AM ET on November 7, 2025 and 11:59 PM ET on November 20, 2025.
When the early bird offer ends, get 30% bonus Virgin Points when you transfer Ultimate Rewards points between 12:00 AM ET on November 21, 2025 and 11:59 PM ET on December 5, 2025.
Chase did this two tiered transfer bonus earlier this year as well (February), with 40% for two weeks, then 30%. They also had a flat 25% offer in the middle of this year. See all past transfer bonuses to Virgin Atlantic.
Redeem for flights starting at 6,000 points. We like using points for domestic Delta flights (when there is availability!) as well as for SkyTeam flights and, of course, ANA First and Business Class flights. Virgin’s own flight rewards are dynamically priced but with high surcharges. I’d been seeing a lot of Upper Class seats from 29,000 points but I’m not seeing much now so do some homework on what you are hoping to book before transferring.
ANA First and Business class awards:
(Note that you can book one way for half the price of the points price listed.)
Get 30% more Marriott Bonvoy points when you transfer Membership Rewards® points through 11/30/2025.
You’ll have 2 months to take advantage of this transfer bonus, but should you?
First of all, we have historically seen significantly higher offers across Amex and Chase.
Here is a link to historical transfer bonuses to Marriott Bonvoy, with 50%-70% in the list.
That said, this is still almost never a good transfer unless you are topping off for an award you are ready to book. Keep in mind that we value an Amex point at roughly 3X the value of a Marriott Bonvoy point.
However, there are always exceptions and you might find a 5 night stay (5th night free) where the transfer makes sense so do the math – but you likely do not want to transfer speculatively unless you are a Bonvoy pro and believe you will exceed value you can get via other transfer partners. Also keep in mind this transfer can take up to 48 hours.
Valid 12:00 a.m. MT on 11/3/2025 to 11:59 p.m. MT on 11/30/2025.
I do not think many of you should be taking advantage of this offer.
Avianca is a Star Alliance partner that does not pass along fuel surcharges, however:
Keep in mind that Avianca recently devalued their program. Also see: Downsides of the LifeMiles program.
With frequent website issues, terrible customer support, and change/cancel fees of up to $200 a ticket, it’s just not for me. Aeroplan also does not pass along surcharges (nor does United) and both are much easier to deal with.
At a mere 15%, I cannot see a case for the transfer unless you were literally about to make a Lifemiles booking anyway. This is the 3rd transfer bonus from Amex alone to Avianca Lifemiles.
Get 70% bonus Marriott Bonvoy® points when you transfer Ultimate Rewards points between 12:00 AM ET November 14, 2025 and 11:59 PM ET on November 30, 2025. Bonus points will be awarded by Marriott Bonvoy in your Marriott Bonvoy account up to 7 days after your transfer is complete.
This is a two week transfer bonus and higher than most bonuses to Marriott Bonvoy which have typically been 40-50%. though we say an identical one from Chase in August and there is a 30% transfer bonus on now from American Express.
That said, it doesn’t make it a great deal.
This is almost never a good transfer unless you are topping off for an award you are ready to book. Keep in mind that we value a Chase point at roughly 3X the value of a Marriott Bonvoy point. You might do better paying cash or even using the Chase portal to see how much value per point Chase is giving at a particular hotel (perhaps with Edit benefits).
However, there are always exceptions and you might find a 5 night stay (5th night free) where the transfer makes sense so do the math – but you likely do not want to transfer speculatively unless you are a Bonvoy pro and believe you will exceed value you can get via other Ultimate Rewards partners.
20% bonus miles when you transfer Capital One Miles to British Airways Avios. Ends 11:59PM Eastern Time on 11/21/2025
We generally see transfer bonuses from most major transferable points currencies at least once a year. Chase has had two this year, Amex has had one, and this is the first one from Capital One this year. You can see all historical transfer bonuses to British Airways Avios here. It’s often 30% vs. this 20% bonus.
British Airways Avios used to be best for shorthaul flights on Oneworld carriers but recent changes have killed that. Where a flight from New York to Toronto (under 650 miles) used to be as little as 4,500 miles in years past, it’s now 12,000 miles.
However, you can still transfer these miles over to Qatar Airways Avios where that same flight would be 6,000 miles. And that’s the thing – you can transfer these Avios to any other Avios program airline.
Also – outside of the US, BA still prices flights under 650 miles (i.e. SYD-MEL on Qantas) at 6,000 miles in Economy and only 12,500 miles in Business.
BA does have a very favorable lap infant policy – 10% of the miles paid for the adult fare. But beware of their draconian surcharges on long haul awards.
Advanced Mode: Transfer to Finnair’s Avios program which has sweet spots like 62,500 Avios and less than $200 from the US to Finland on Finnair and, (available only by phone or chat) amazing deals on AA transcons. If you can find JFK-LAX/SFO with an available Saver seat in 3-Cabin First (Z class), it’s yours for just 40,000 Finnair Avios. Traveling within the EU in business class (yes, the standard economy seat with the middle blocked, but premium services) is also a steal on Finnair.
Ending on Nov 8, 2025 at 11L59pm ET, this is a pretty rare 20% transfer bonus opportunity if you are savvy with Qantas’ program. We only see three historical transfer bonuses to Qantas dating back to 2022 when we started recording them, two from Capital One and one from Amex. This is the first ever we can recall from Citi ThankYou.
The first thing you’ll want to see is the Qantas award chart as prices rose, significantly in some cases, in August of 2024. There are actually multiple charts: One for Qantas, Jetstar, Fiji Airways, Air Vanuatu, and American Airlines and another for Air France, Alaska Airlines, Bangkok Airways, British Airways, Cathay Pacific Airways, China Airlines, China Eastern, EL AL, Emirates, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, KLM, LATAM Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Oman Air, Qatar Airways, Royal Air Maroc, Royal Jordanian, SriLankan Airlines and WestJet.
And then there’s yet another for mixed oneworld awards.
The Qantas frequent flyer program tends to have very expensive rates, however, there are often times that they make First and Business Class seats from the US to Australia available with Qantas Frequent Flyer and not with partners. You may also find expanded availability with other partners – you’ll have to search but happily their search interface is pretty easy to use and provides calendar views.
You can also book Emirates First and Business class flights with Qantas. Compare against the Emirates Skywards program before transferring and don’t forget to check surcharges!
Get 25% bonus Southwest Rapid Rewards points when you transfer Ultimate Rewards points between 12:00 AM ET on October 23, 2025 and 11:59 PM ET on November 6, 2025. Bonus points will be awarded by Southwest in your Rapid Rewards account after your transfer is complete.
This is notable, but only because I am quite sure this is the first ever transfer bonus from Chase to Southwest. It’s also interesting that the bonus will be awarded on the Southwest side, so clearly Southwest is trying to drum up some incremental revenue in the wake of all the changes there recently which have changed the value proposition for Southwest rather significantly.
As to “should you transfer?” the answer is “unlikely.” If you need to top off your Rapid Rewards balance then, with Chase and Bilt as the only transfer partner, it could make sense in small amounts.
Otherwise keep in mind that Rapid Rewards prices dynamically and without a very strong redemption rate per point (the low 1 cents) so you won’t want to exchange Ultimate Rewards for Rapid Rewards unless you have done the math and see an outsized redemption vs. buying via Chase Travel or even cash.
Bilt Members can get a transfer bonus based on their elite status when they transfer points to Etihad Guest on November 1st only, 12:00 AM ET – 11:59 PM PT:
Generally, I think that if you are already familiar with Etihad Guest and have something to book, this can get you there for up to 50% less miles (for Platinums) but otherwise, Etihad isn’t someplace I would transfer speculatively even with a 100% transfer bonus.
It’s easy to forget, or not know, that Etihad has what is probably the least consumer-friendly cancellation policy around. You will pay between 25% -75% of the fare as a cancellation penalty depending on when you cancel. That’s punitive!
Now, Etihad Guest can still represent some great value. While I’d definitely prefer to book Eithad flights using a partner like AAdvantage (1st choice) or Air Canada, Etihad has some pretty awesome pricing on JetBlue where a Mint seat from the East Coast to the Caribbean will run you just 40,000 Etihad Guest miles. You can also use them on AA flights, though the value there isn’t what it once was.
Get 20% more Flying Blue Miles when you transfer Membership Rewards® points through 10/31/2025.
We see 20%-25% transfer bonuses to Air France Flying Blue very regularly.
Flying Blue rates are variable, so run a search before transferring. When you get lucky, business class from the US to Europe can run as low as 60,000 Flying Blue miles (up from 50,000 previously). But that would be just 48,000 credit card points during this promotion! Of course you can also get even luckier during an Air France monthly promo award sale.
Flying Blue is often the best way to book Virgin Atlantic Upper Class from the US to Europe and beyond, due to the lowest taxes of any way to book Virgin Atlantic, however with Virgin’s new dynamic pricing you really have to compare the pricing on both programs as it can now be cheaper with Virgin in some cases. Flying Blue can also book Delta, KLM, and other SkyTeam members when Saver award space is available.
If you have lots of points across various programs, no need to speculatively transfer due to the number of overall transfer bonuses each year.
Get 30% Bonus Avios when you transfer points between 12:00 AM ET on October 1, 2025 and 11:59 PM ET on October 31, 2025
Personally, I value a Chase point at well more than even 1.3 British Airways Avios, but if you have plenty of Chase points and a planned redemption it’s something to consider. Also consider, however, that Chase tends to offer these transfer bonuses 1-2X a year. See historical transfer bonuses to British Airways Avios.
British Airways Avios used to be best for shorthaul flights on Oneworld carriers but recent changes have killed that. Where a flight from New York to Toronto (under 650 miles) used to be as little as 4,500 miles in years past, it’s now 12,000 miles.

There are identical transfer bonuses on now to both British Airways and Aer Lingus Avios and British Airways are the most common / easy to use and link directly with Qatar so there are few people that would want to transfer to Iberia directly.
They ripped out their award charts in May 2025 and replaced them with new higher ones and the biggest Iberia Sweet Spot of US East Coast to Madrid in business class off peak for 34,000 Avios is now 40,500 Avios and at peak times it’s now 50,000 to 59,000 Avios. This is the 3,001–4,000 mileage band.
This still remains about the only award you would book with Iberia (you may find other instances where Iberia remains cheaper on its own metal) but keep in mind the biggest flaw of the Iberia program:
Award travel on partner airlines booked with Iberia Avios is non-refundable!!
That said, generally you want to move your points to British Airways first for the most flexibility – since you can move from there to Finnair, which has some great redemptions, or Qatar.
See this post on the transfer bonus to British Airways Avios for more on the Finnair program.
Get 30% Bonus Avios when you transfer points between 12:00 AM ET on October 1, 2025 and 11:59 PM ET on October 31, 2025
Aer Lingus has some sweet spots as well, like the US to Ireland for 13,000 – 16,250 Avios with no surcharges or 50,000 Avios – 62,500 Avios each way in Business Class. This would be if you find space on Aer Lingus metal. The lower pricing is from the East Coast, the higher is West Coast.
Combinable with other Avios programs like BA on the avios.com website.

Capital One just added JAL Mileage Bank as a partner today. The transfer ratio is sub-optimal at 2:1.5, but they are kicking off the points transfer partnership with a transfer bonus that gets you *almost* to 1:1.
1,000 Capital One Miles gets you 975 JAL miles until October 22nd, 2025 with this transfer bonus. Usually, 1,000 will get you 750 JAL miles.
When Bilt added JAL as a transfer partner back in May, we wrote an extensive guide to JAL. If you aren’t familiar with JAL (and most aren’t), check out that guide to JAL Mileage Bank.
Importantly, you cannot transfer points into JAL Mileage Bank until your Mileage Bank account has been active for 7 days, so create that account right away whether you have a transfer in mind today or not.
Transfers should be instant.
JAL does offer a Round The World award (appealing now that ANA’s RTW is no more), but note that JAL miles “hard expire” 36 months from the date you earn them.
Need more Capital One Miles? We have 5 cards that earn Capital One Miles here.
Remember that with Capital One cards that earn cash back, you can convert the cash back into transferable miles as long as you have any of the Miles-earning cards.
Get 80% Bonus IHG One Rewards points when you transfer Ultimate Rewards points between 12:00 AM ET on October 1, 2025 and 11:59 PM ET on October 22, 2025.
We value IHG Rewards points at 0.4 cents and Chase Ultimate Rewards at 1.75 cents, so this is far from a slam dunk and we’d advise to only transfer if you’ve already found a great redemption.
And that does happen! When researching IHG Rewards during elevated offers on the two co-branded IHG credit cards that offer 4th night free, we have occasionally found points to be worth just over a cent each meaning you could get around 2 cents in value from this transfer bonus. Still, you have to hunt for the outsized redemptions, so caution is advised
You also may be looking to “top up” an existing IHG Rewards balance for a reward stay and this would be an opportune time.
But as a general rule, we find that one Chase Ultimate Rewards point is at least 4 times more valuable than IHG Rewards points, so, again, do your homework before transferring and make sure you have a deal lined up – ideally using the 4th night free benefit from a co-branded credit card.
Also see past transfer bonuses from Chase Ultimate Rewards to IHG One Rewards.
Valid for points transfers completed between 09/21/2025 12:01 AM ET and 10/18/2025 11:59 PM ET.
This bonus gives you 1.25 Lifemiles per point transferred on a Citi Strata Elite℠, Citi Strata Premier℠, Citi Prestige®, and AT&T Access More. Other eligible ThankYou cards will get 0.875 miles per point (up from 0.7 normally).
25% is not bad, although Citi made the same offer back and April and also last October (you can see all historical bonuses to Avianca Lifemiles from all issuers here). Many recent transfer bonuses from other credit card currencies have been just 15%.
Avianca has really been messing with its program lately. They’ve devalued twice in the last 9 months, although in the most recent devaluation all sorts of quirks emerged with pricing. For instance a business class ticket from the US to/from Europe could be 69,000 miles or it could be 80,000 miles.
All of the same issues I’ve always had around Lifemiles customer service remain. I don’t want to ever have to deal with a schedule change than needs a ticket reissued with them again, and sometimes the website shows phantom availability and phone agents are often unable to help after incredibly long hold times.
You can also stack a Lifemiles+ membership with this (from $20 / month or free if you have the Lifemiles Amex). If you found a business class ticket for 69,000 miles, after the 10% lifemiles+ discount and 25% transfer bonus, it would be a great deal at 49,680 – if you know the risks of Lifemiles bookings and are ok with that.
So, for expert Lifemiles users, this could be a great deal…. but would I speculatively transfer? Not a chance.
