Card Features and Benefits:
Chase Ink Preferred Earn Rate:
The Chase Ink Preferred card earns 3x Ultimate Rewards points on all travel, advertising, and shipping, up to $150,000 a year, meaning that if your business spends a lot in any of these categories, you can earn a ton of points.
It also earns 3x on internet, cable, and phone services, though the Chase Ink Cash earns better in those categories.
You'll earn 1x points per dollar on everything else.
The massive Welcome Bonus offer makes this card a great first business card. The bonus alone is worth $1,000 - $1,200 at a minimum. These points can be transferred to a range of Ultimate Rewards partners like United and Hyatt at a 1:1 ratio or spent in the Ultimate Rewards portal on travel with a value of 1.25 cents per point (or at 1.5 cents each if you also carry a Chase Sapphire Reserve).
Chase Ink Preferred Airline and Hotel Transfer Partners:
Singapore Suites - Bookable with Ultimate Rewards points
Best Chase Business Credit Card Combos:
If you have no annual fee Chase cards, such as the Ink Unlimited, Ink Cash, Freedom, or Freedom Unlimited, which do not allow you to transfer or use the points for more than a penny a point in value, having this card will allow you to combine points from the no annual fee cards into this one, where you can transfer to airline/hotel partners or redeem in the travel portal at a value of 1.25 cents per point. For these reasons, many people also have another Chase Ink card like the Ink Unlimited (which earns 1.5x points on everything) or Ink Cash (which has bonus categories of up to 5x points) and both of those have no annual fee.
Chase Ink Preferred Benefits:
Chase also provides complimentary cell phone insurance if you pay your monthly bill with the card (deductible applies).
Trip delay insurance of up to $5,000 per trip is included.
Purchase protection against damage and theft to recently purchased products and extended warranty protection benefits are also included.
No foreign transaction fees.
More Advice from MilesTalk:
Note: You will only be approved for a Chase business credit card if you have applied for fewer than 5 personal credit cards within the last 24 months from any issuer. (Business credit cards do not count against the total, except for Capital One and Discover, but are subject to the policy). Learn more about the 5/24 rule here.
Lastly, you will only be approved for (at most) one Chase business card every 30 days so please do not apply for two at once.
