Key features
Unique Card Benefits
2.5% on Eligible Purchases Over $5,000
The Chase Ink Business Premier is the only card on the market that earns 2.5% cash back for large purchases (over $5,000).
High Spending Limits Designed for Heavy Business Spenders
The Chase Ink Business Premier card is a credit card that functions like a “charge card” – aimed at business customers.
It means that you are expected to pay your business purchases in full each month.
It won’t technically have “no preset spending limit”, but it will be similar as this product is intended for very high spenders.
You’ll have a limit, but you’ll also be able to exceed the limit. The limit will be based on your financials. Chase also has (similar to Amex’s Pay Over Time) “Flex for Business” which says “We may assign a portion of your Credit Access Line for use with Flex for Business.
Flex for Business allows a portion of your Credit Access Line to be used for qualifying purchases over time, with interest.”
Primary Car Rental CDW Waiver
As long as the car rental is for business purposes, the Ink Business Premier credit card offers primary collision damage waiver (CDW) protection when you pay for a rental car with the card. Just be aware that certain car brands and vehicle types (e.g. motorbikes, pickup trucks, and RVs) are excluded from this coverage.
No Foreign Transaction Fees
The Chase Ink Business Premier credit card doesn’t charge foreign transaction fees.
Extended Warranty
When you use your Chase Ink Business Premier card for an eligible purchase, the included extended warranty protection extends the time period of the original manufacturer’s US repair warranty by one additional year on eligible warranties of up to three years, up to a maximum of $10,000 per claim, and $50,000 per account.
Purchase Protection
With Purchase Protection, they will repair, replace or reimburse you for eligible purchases in the event of theft or damage when items are purchased with your Chase Ink Business Premier card. See Chase’s benefits guide for details.
Trip Protections
This Chase small business card offers many travel protections including baggage delay insurance, travel accident insurance, travel and emergency assistance services, trip cancellation/interruption insurance, and trip delay reimbursement.
In addition to the travel protections covered above, Chase Ink Business Premier cardholders get lost luggage insurance. This protection covers your checked and carry-on baggage for unreimbursed losses of up to $3,000 per person per trip.
Cell Phone Protection
The Chase Ink Business Premier includes cell phone protection for damage to your cell phone when you pay your full cell phone bill with your card each month. $100 deductible and other terms apply.
Does Not Report Credit Line to Personal Credit Profile
One of the benefits of (most) business credit cards is that they do not report your credit line. The Ink Premier is no exception. While your credit will be pulled when you apply, the card will never appear on your personal profile (including your balances) as long as your account is in good standing.
No Fees for Authorized Users
You can get employees their own Ink Business Premier Card cards at no additional cost.
Roadside Assistance
Chase Ink Premier cardholders get access to Roadside Dispatch. This pay-per-use roadside assistance program is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week without the need to pre-enroll or pay for a membership. Flat tires, jump starts, and short tows are a few of the benefits provided Costs provided at time of service.

Pros & cons
- There is no other charge card on the market that offers 2.5% on charges over $5,000 with no monthly or annual limit.
- A flexible spending limit makes it a great choice for heavy spenders; rare on a small business card.
- Primary car rental Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) can be a huge benefit when on the road. This means your personal insurance won't have to get involved for damage to your rental car. (Note that it does not provide liability insurance or coverage for any other car you may be in a collision with.)
- The Chase Ultimate Rewards points earned with the Ink Business Premier are pure cash back with no option to transfer the points to other Chase small business credit cards (Ink) or Chase Sapphire cards or to airline and hotel transfer partners. This differs from all other Chase Ink credit cards.
- Relatively high annual fee.
- Lack of travel benefits like a Global Entry application fee credit, though you likely have that on another credit card.
Our review
The Ink Business Premier credit card from Chase fits a specific target audience.
The businesses best suited for this card spend a very high amount monthly and want to simplify their spending. Especially if you have frequent charges over $5,000, that annual fee is paid for many times over by the extra 1/2 percent earned in cash back.
While it’s easy to get caught up in miles and points, if you are spending and earning more points than you can realistically spend, it’s not at all a bad idea.
However, if you want to earn transferable points, you would be better served by a Capital One Spark Cash Select. Alone, the Spark Cash is also just straight cash, but if you have a Venture, Venture X, or Spark Miles for Business card, you can convert the cash to miles.
If that’s not a concern, then the Chase Ink Business Premier is easily the very best business charge card out there. No other credit card or charge card will get you more cash back on purchases.
Many small business owners spend a ton on inventory monthly and could be earning huge amounts of cashback, but don’t have time to learn about miles and points. This business card is perfect for those small business owners. If purchases tend to be large purchases over $5,000 (which earn 2.5%) it becomes even better.
